We’ll meet at the clubhouse at 9:00 in the morning on Saturday, October 14th. If you ride your bicycle, you will be able to lock it up there while we are gone. If you are driving, since it is a weekend you can park your car on the street that runs along the front of the property the clubhouse is part of. The address of the property is 205 East 15th Street, Tempe.
Once we’re all there we will head to Strawberry, AZ. After we arrive at the home of some friends of Bridges, we’ll play some games there and have lunch. Then we’ll visit the oldest one-room schoolhouse in Arizona.
For those who are interested, we can visit a local festival. And probably all of us will finish our time up north by visiting a natural wonder in Arizona, the Tonto Natural Bridge. Our plan is to be home by 6:00-7:00.
The cost is $20, cash please. (We don’t take credit or debit cards.)
What to Bring:
- Water bottle
- Sunscreen, maybe a hat
- Comfortable walking shoes
- $20 if you haven’t paid by then
- A light jacket – the weather will probably be sunny and in the low 70’s.
Important!
